ENSAIA students visit the HEUFT company

Students from ENSAIA (Ecole Nationale Supйrieure d´Agronomie et des Industries Alimentaires = University for Agronomy and the Food Industry) in Nancy (France) visited HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH on 24 February 2005.

They were presented an outline of the state of technological development today regarding inspection and checking systems during an all-day programme. After a short and general introduction to the HEUFT range of products it was straight off to the heart of the matter. The machines were shown in action in the bottling hall of the mineral water suppliers "Tцnissteiner Sprudel GmbH" in Brohl-Lьtzing, Germany. The course of production was explained from the delivery of the empties to the palletised, finished products at individual stations and the students´ questions answered.

The theoretical section was continued in the afternoon. Lecturers with practical experience explained the possible uses, background and functions of different inspection systems. A tour of the production plant and the research laboratory rounded off the programme.

ENSAIA and the HEUFT company, via its subsidiary company HEUFT France, have been working together for over ten years now. HEUFT offers young students from the food sector the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned as part of its training and promotional programme.
