FachPack 2010: new quality assurance

HEUFT and SIMACO will be showing current innovations for perfectly packaged and marked products at FachPack 2010 in Nuremberg. Groundbreaking solutions which guarantee maximum product quality, safety and traceability in the food and healthcare sector will be presented at the joint stand (4-551) of the two companies from 28 to 30 September.

They protect the contents and are at the same time an image bearer not to be underestimated:  the packaging is your product´s business card.  HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH and SIMACO GMBH have developed innovative solutions for an optimal quality control and traceability during the packaging process so that packaging and marking faults do not threaten product safety and consumer confidence.  They can be seen at the two companies´ joint FachPack stand at the end of September - Stand 551 in Hall 4 of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.

The following will be presented there among other things:

• the HEUFT eXaminer XB a completely new and unique top-down scanner which inspects unpackaged and packaged products lying on the conveyor (e.g. for foreign objects and completeness) for the first time using particularly low-radiation, pulsed HEUFT X-ray technology
• the new HEUFT eXaminer XAC foreign object inspector which combines the impressive performance of the proven HEUFT eXaminer XA during the base and sidewall inspection of filled containers with an extremely compact and hygiene-friendly construction in accordance with the HEUFT CleanDesign
• the HEUFT VX ATEX which achieves the higher speeds demanded by the market during the precise fill level detection of aerosol containers in the Ex area by replacing traditional weighing systems with the clearly more efficient HEUFT X-ray technology and in addition distributes the spray cans on up to three lanes
• the HEUFT VX OCR which checks the presence and correctness of the contents of product marking such as best-before dates, barcodes or 2D codes
• good value SIMACOLOR inkjet inks and consumables in original equipment manufacturer quality which guarantee the perfect coding of packaging made of cardboard, plastic and other materials
• special solutions developed in SIMACO´s own research laboratory such as the brand new, environmentally compatible thermochromic ink for food packaging the colour shade of which changes during sterilisation or pasteurisation 
• extensive SIMACOTEC spare parts and maintenance services for all conventional inkjet coders
