HEUFT will present innovative solutions for efficient quality control at the interpack 2008 exhibition

"Product safety" is the main topic at the HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH exhibition stand (C38) in Hall 11 at the interpack 2008 exhibition. At the end of April the leading manufacturer of efficient products for quality control in the drinks industry will present a selection of its convincing solutions at the world´s largest exhibition for packaging, innovations and processes in Duesseldorf, Germany.

The HEUFT InLine tracks down damaged or contaminated containers

Detecting contamination, damage and foreign objects reliably:  this is not a problem with the HEUFT InLine which will be exhibited at the interpack.  The device offers a thorough all around inspection of unfilled containers and uncovers glass faults, contamination and damage at the base, sidewall and finish area.

The HEUFT squeezer checks the tightness

The HEUFT squeezer ensures that plastic packaging does not leak.  The container is guided by a belt drive which exerts an exact dose of pressure on it.  Gas escapes from the headspace and the fill level in the container rises if there is a leak in the container.  The fill level remains almost the same because the gas is only slightly compressed if the container does not have a leak.  A comparative fill level measurement carried out in a compressed and non-compressed condition reveals even the slightest leaks.  Modular systems which can be put together monitor that the positioning and the integrity of the closures are correct as well as the presence of metal foil closures.

The HEUFT pakCheck checks carton packages

The HEUFT pakCheck is first class as regards the quality control of carton packages.  It ensures that only completely tight and correctly closed composite containers reach the market.  The device analyses the fill height and the tightness of the container, the presence and correct positioning of the closure and that the best-before date has been correctly printed by means of the code reading system (with the integrated HEUFT vio OCR) in a single work process.

The HEUFT eXaminer provides a new quality for checking containers

The HEUFT eXaminer reliably tracks down even the smallest foreign objects in nontransparent products and containers.  The special highlight:  the pulsed radiometric measurement makes a completely new quality for checking containers possible whilst managing with only a fraction of the amount of X-radiation when compared to conventional devices.
The systems introduced at the interpack 2008 can be adapted to the respective requirements on-site and extended as required as is the case with all the HEUFT developments.
