HEUFT eXaminer XLforeign object inspection for high–speed glass linesThe HEUFT eXaminer XL X–ray inspection, specially developed for the high–speed glass lines of the drinks industry, identifies foreign objects such as glass, metal, stones or lost fill tubes in bottles which have already been filled and closed. Such faults are precisely detected even in cloudy or absolutely non–transparent liquids and containers. An in–house developed belt drive aligns the bottles so that they can be inspected by four particularly low–radiation X–ray stations. The result: a 100 percent base coverage. This innovative technology together with the downstream HEUFT reflexx image processing system ensures extremely exact inspection results even at high line speeds. FUNCTIONS
