HEUFT spotter SF

A full container inspection for detecting foreign objects and material defects

The HEUFT spotter SF identifies low density foreign objects which are floating in the product or have sunk to the bottom such as foil remnants, bits of paper, insects and mould in glass and PET bottles filled with transparent liquids just as reliably as scratches, cracks, inclusions, chips, breaks and other material defects.  The optical examination covers the complete container volume and even includes such areas which have been deemed impossible to be inspected until now:  even faults hidden behind the dome or covered by the base edge and other structures are reliably tracked down using an in-house developed detection technology.

FUNCTIONS

  • all-around base inspection
  • sidewall inspection
  • detects foreign objects floating in the product and lying on the container base
  • reliably identifies low density objects
  • detects scratches, cracks, chips and other material defects
  • optional integrable detection module for checking the presence of closures

THE ADVANTAGES

  • optimal container alignment by means of a specially developed servo-controlled belt drive
  • automatic function monitoring by means of integrated tools such as a test bottle log, container tracking, reject verification and message stack
